How will payroll outsourcing benefit me?
We aim to become your payroll department. How do my employees get paid?
PBS will process all payroll-related payments on your behalf to your employees, any and all statutory payments to HMRC, and any other payments to 3rd parties.
How do I transfer information to PBS?
We transfer all of the information on our user friendly Excel Spreadsheets where possible for both the processing and setting up of your payroll. We may also be able to download information from a backup of your last payroll (depending upon the payroll software used). In addition we have also successfully integrated with clients' existing SAP setup in the past.
What happens if I have a query with my payroll, tax, NI or any other relevant issue?
Each client has their own nominated account handler who not only processes your payroll, but also deals with any payroll queries that you may have. All our payroll account managers are fully CIPP qualified. They know all about payroll so you don't have to!
Why is using PBS an improvement on my current in-house system?
Our experienced and fully CIPP qualified payroll staff will ensure that your payroll is processed accurately and on time. How long would it take to set up the payroll?
This can depend upon a number of factors such as the size and frequency of your payroll and your current set up. As a rule of thumb we usually require 6 - 8 weeks, which gives us time to conduct a parallel run and thoroughly check all the information supplied.
Do I have to wait until the end of the tax year in April to change over?
No, we take on new payroll outsourcing clients throughout the year and have the skills, knowledge and experience to transfer your payroll at any time of the year.
How much work will be involved for me?
We endeavout to ensure that the absolute minimal amount of work is required from our clients to ensure they have an accurate and confidential outsourced payroll processed on time. We will only require you to inform us of any changes to the payroll and authorisation once you are happy with everything.
